What it does

EDITS an existing GTM tag / trigger / variable / workspace by its full `path` (from list_gtm_tags/triggers/variables/workspaces). kind = tag|trigger|variable|workspace. Provide only what changes: name (rename), parameters, firing_trigger_ids (tags only, comma-separated — empty = keep). parameters = JSON object {key: value} or a GTM parameter list; ONLY the keys you give are changed and every other parameter of the tag stays as it is (so {"eventName": "generate_lead"} changes just the event name and keeps the measurement ID). A list value becomes a GTM table/list ({"eventSettingsTable": [{"parameter": "form_id", "parameterValue": "<value>"}]}). replace_parameters=true replaces the whole parameter set instead (needed only to REMOVE a parameter). GTM PUT is a full replace, so the current object is fetched, your fields applied, then written back (fingerprint preserved). SAFETY: confirm=false → preview; confirm=true → applies.

How to use it

You don't call tools by name. Write what you want in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant connected to Opus Growth, in your own words; it picks this tool when it fits.

Because this tool changes your account, your assistant first shows a preview of exactly what will change. Nothing is applied until you say yes, and every applied change is written to your audit log.
