What it does

RENAMES a Google Ads CAMPAIGN and/or changes its status — the campaign-level counterpart of update_ad_group. Renaming is what update_campaign_status cannot do, so restructuring an account (merging campaigns, changing a naming convention) works here without the Google Ads interface. name = the new campaign name; it must be unique in the account. status: 'ENABLED' | 'PAUSED' | 'REMOVED'. REMOVED DELETES the campaign: it leaves the campaign list and CANNOT be re-enabled — its reporting history stays but the campaign itself is gone for good, so pause first if you are unsure. Only the fields you pass are changed; leave one empty to keep it. Passing REMOVED ignores name, because a removed campaign cannot be renamed. confirm=false → dry-run.

How to use it

You don't call tools by name. Write what you want in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant connected to Opus Growth, in your own words; it picks this tool when it fits.

Because this tool changes your account, your assistant first shows a preview of exactly what will change. Nothing is applied until you say yes, and every applied change is written to your audit log.
