What it does

Turns a single Google Ads AD on or off, or DELETES it: status 'ENABLED' to enable / publish / resume / unpause an ad, 'PAUSED' to pause / stop it, 'REMOVED' to delete it for good. It turns on ads (an RSA, for instance) that were created PAUSED. REMOVED matters during an iteration cycle: Google allows only 3 enabled RSAs per ad group, so revising copy repeatedly leaves dead paused ads behind that keep occupying the group — removing them is the only way to clean up. Removal cannot be undone, the ad and its history are gone, so pause first if you are unsure. For the whole ad group use update_ad_group_status, for the campaign use update_campaign_status. confirm=false → dry-run.

How to use it

You don't call tools by name. Write what you want in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant connected to Opus Growth, in your own words; it picks this tool when it fits.

Because this tool changes your account, your assistant first shows a preview of exactly what will change. Nothing is applied until you say yes, and every applied change is written to your audit log.
