What it does

Sets a campaign's bid strategy. strategy: ManualCpc | EnhancedCpc | MaxClicks (optional max_cpc ceiling) | MaxConversions | TargetCpa (target_cpa REQUIRED) | MaxConversionValue (optional target_roas) | TargetRoas (target_roas REQUIRED). target_roas is a PERCENTAGE: pass 350 for 350%, or 3.5 and it is converted. The four conversion-based strategies need a conversion goal in the account first (list_microsoft_uet_tags → create_microsoft_conversion_goal). confirm=false = preview, confirm=true applies.

Because this tool changes your account, your assistant first shows a preview of exactly what will change. Nothing is applied until you say yes, and every applied change is written to your audit log.
