What it does

Sets geographic and language targeting on a campaign. locations: comma-separated location names or geo IDs (a country, cities, or a numeric id such as 2792). negative_locations: locations to exclude. languages: comma-separated language codes (tr, en, de...) or numeric IDs. mode='add' (default) KEEPS the campaign's existing targeting and only adds to it: targeting a city while its country is still targeted does NOT narrow reach, Google takes the union. mode='replace' overwrites: every existing criterion of the dimensions passed (positive locations with locations, exclusions with negative_locations, languages with languages) is removed and replaced with the new list, in a single request so the campaign is never left untargeted. mode='replace' changes a country-wide target into a single-city target. Other dimensions are untouched. A campaign without targeting targets the entire world. confirm=false → preview of the resolved locations + what would be removed.

How to use it

You don't call tools by name. Write what you want in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant connected to Opus Growth, in your own words; it picks this tool when it fits.

Because this tool changes your account, your assistant first shows a preview of exactly what will change. Nothing is applied until you say yes, and every applied change is written to your audit log.
