What it does

Removes a conversion tracking rule from a LinkedIn campaign (ad set) — the inverse of attach_linkedin_conversion. The rule itself is NOT deleted; only this campaign stops reporting/optimizing for it. It removes a badly scoped rule from a campaign, such as a site-wide 'All Pages' conversion that fires on every page and inflates conversion counts.

WARNING: on a MAX_CONVERSION ('Maximum Delivery' automated bidding) campaign, detaching the LAST conversion can stop delivery — LinkedIn requires an associated conversion for that bid strategy. list_linkedin_conversions → associated_campaigns shows which campaigns a conversion is attached to. conversion_id: the numeric id from list_linkedin_conversions. confirm=false = preview.

How to use it

You don't call tools by name. Write what you want in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant connected to Opus Growth, in your own words; it picks this tool when it fits.

Because this tool changes your account, your assistant first shows a preview of exactly what will change. Nothing is applied until you say yes, and every applied change is written to your audit log.
