What it does

Creates a LinkedIn campaign. campaign_type: TEXT_AD | SPONSORED_UPDATES | SPONSORED_INMAILS | DYNAMIC | EVENT_AD. cost_type: CPC | CPM | CPV | CPS. Targeting: country ('TR','US','DE'… 36 verified country codes) sets the geo target; for finer targeting pass comma-separated 'urn:li:geo:...' values to geo_urns (found via linkedin_targeting_search). language sets the interface language (en/tr/de/fr/es). Budget is processed in the account's own currency (TRY on a TRY account). If total_budget>0 the total budget is used, otherwise daily_budget. associated_entity: the Company Page URN (urn:li:organization:<id>) required for SPONSORED_UPDATES / SPONSORED_INMAILS / DYNAMIC / EVENT_AD campaigns; empty is filled from the account's organization reference, otherwise an error is returned. Not needed for TEXT_AD. objective_type (LinkedIn's enum is SINGULAR — live-verified): WEBSITE_CONVERSION | WEBSITE_VISIT | WEBSITE_TRAFFIC | LEAD_GENERATION | BRAND_AWARENESS | ENGAGEMENT | VIDEO_VIEW | JOB_APPLICANT | CONVERSATION_STARTER | TALENT_LEAD | CREATIVE_ENGAGEMENT. Plural spellings (WEBSITE_CONVERSIONS / VIDEO_VIEWS / JOB_APPLICANTS) are auto-corrected. The objective CANNOT be changed after creation, so pick it now. ad_format is a SEPARATE axis from campaign_type and decides what the ad looks like: STANDARD_UPDATE (single image) | SPONSORED_UPDATE_NATIVE_DOCUMENT (document ad) | CAROUSEL | SINGLE_VIDEO | SPOTLIGHT | FOLLOW_COMPANY | JOBS | SPONSORED_UPDATE_EVENT | TEXT_AD | SPONSORED_INMAIL | SPONSORED_MESSAGE. Leave it empty and LinkedIn falls back to a single-image ad set, which can then only be corrected in the UI — and that edit wipes the targeting, so set it here. Friendly spellings are accepted (DOCUMENT, CAROUSEL, SINGLE_IMAGE, VIDEO). CONVERSION GOALS: a WEBSITE_CONVERSION ad set needs the enabled rules that belong to it, listed by list_linkedin_conversions, in conversion_ids. Pass their numeric IDs in conversion_ids (comma-separated; at most 20). A conversion campaign is deliberately NOT created until that explicit choice is made. With conversion_ids, Opus Growth creates the campaign as DRAFT, attaches every selected rule, reads the associations back, and only then applies the requested status, so an ACTIVE campaign never starts before its goals are verified. The same safe sequence is used when optional conversion_ids are supplied for another objective. RUN SCHEDULE: start_date / end_date ('YYYY-MM-DD'; end date runs to the end of that day, UTC). Empty start = now. With total_budget and no end_date LinkedIn's 90-day default end applies and spend is paced over 90 days — set end_date for event or short campaigns. NOTE: the 'I certify this is not a political ad' declaration (politicalIntent=NOT_POLITICAL) is sent automatically — political ads are not supported by this tool. confirm=false = preview.
