What it does

Turns an existing Company Page post into an ad (Sponsored Content) for a SPONSORED_UPDATES campaign. THIS IS THE WAY TO RUN AN IMAGE AD ON LINKEDIN: there is no direct image upload (LinkedIn needs an organization permission this connector does not have), so the image is posted on the Company Page first and then sponsored here. post_urn: 'urn:li:share:<id>' or 'urn:li:ugcPost:<id>' — the numeric id from the post's LinkedIn URL. The campaign must be tied to an organization (associatedEntity). intended_status empty (auto): the ad follows its ad set like Campaign Manager does; under a DRAFT ad set it is created ACTIVE, so it starts serving when the campaign and ad set are activated and nothing spends before that; under an ad set that is already ACTIVE or PAUSED it is created DRAFT so it never goes live unrequested. Pass ACTIVE / DRAFT / PAUSED to force a status. A DRAFT ad does NOT serve even when its ad set is ACTIVE — activate it with update_linkedin_creative_status. confirm=false = preview.

How to use it

You don't call tools by name. Write what you want in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant connected to Opus Growth, in your own words; it picks this tool when it fits.

Because this tool changes your account, your assistant first shows a preview of exactly what will change. Nothing is applied until you say yes, and every applied change is written to your audit log.
