What it does

Adds a Responsive Search Ad (RSA) to an ad group. status: 'PAUSED' (default) | 'ENABLED'. NOTE: the ad's own status is INDEPENDENT of the campaign — a PAUSED ad stays paused even after the campaign is switched on, so a draft handed over with paused ads serves nothing until someone also enables them. When you are building a campaign for review, pass status='ENABLED': the campaign itself is created PAUSED, which already guarantees nothing spends, and the reviewer then needs a single campaign-level switch to go live. update_ad_status changes it later. At least 3 headlines, 2 descriptions. DISPLAY URL PATHS: path1 / path2 are the two segments shown after the domain — ftapi.com/sicherer/datenraum comes from path1="sicherer", path2="datenraum". Up to 15 characters each, no slashes; they do not have to exist as real pages. They are not decoration: the display URL is an expected-CTR signal, so an ad left on a bare domain is measurably weaker than the rest of the account. Optional: final_mobile_url (separate mobile landing page) and tracking_url_template (ad-level tracking template). PINNING: headline_pins / description_pins are optional lists in the SAME ORDER as headlines/descriptions; each entry pins that text to a fixed position — headline 1/2/3, description 1/2 (0 or empty = unpinned, Google rotates it). headline_pins lists a position per headline in the same order (1 pins that headline to position 1, 0 leaves it unpinned). Assets pinned to the same position compete only for that position; Google cannot fill the others. confirm=false → dry-run.
