What it does

Activate, deactivate, update or delete a plugin that is already installed on a connected WordPress site.

It switches off plugins the site does not need; an unused analytics or tracking plugin keeps loading scripts on every page. Deactivating leaves the plugin and its settings in place, so it can be switched back on; delete removes its files, and an ACTIVE plugin is refused unless you deactivate it first. `plugin` is the file path from wordpress_list_plugins (folder/file.php).

If activating fails, the reply now carries the real reason and a writability check: page cache plugins need wp-config.php and wp-content to be writable, and on hosts where they are not, no cache plugin can be enabled at all.

How to use it

You don't call tools by name. Write what you want in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant connected to Opus Growth, in your own words; it picks this tool when it fits.

Because this tool changes your account, your assistant first shows a preview of exactly what will change. Nothing is applied until you say yes, and every applied change is written to your audit log.
