Ce qu'il fait

Lists the user-defined VARIABLES in a workspace (name, variableId, type: 'c' = constant / 'v' = Data Layer / 'jsm' = Custom JS…). Also returns each variable's `params` flattened (a constant's value, a Data Layer variable's name), which reads back its config. workspace/container: as in list_gtm_tags. Every variable is retained: limit controls only this response page (0 = as many as fit), and page_token=next_page_token retrieves the cached remainder without another Google request or credit.
