O que faz

Finds Google's location targeting IDs by name — search a place, get back its id, its administrative LEVEL (District / City / Province / Country / Neighborhood / Postal Code) and its full canonical name.

A bare district name is ambiguous to Google: its suggestion list is fuzzy and contains provinces and cities that merely sound similar. This tool returns the whole candidate list with each one's level and parent, so an exact id can be targeted instead of a name.

`country` narrows the candidates (2-letter code). `level` filters to one kind, matched loosely: district | city | province | region | country | neighborhood | postal. Every candidate returned by Google is retained: limit controls only this response page (0 = as many as fit), and page_token=next_page_token returns the cached remainder without another API request. Read-only, no credit.
